This review is from: Gotta Find a Home: Conversations with Street People (Kindle Edition)
Dennis Cardiff compiles conversation that he’s had with street people and homeless people that he encounters during his day to day life. I can honestly say that I have never read anything like this before. Living in NYC, I encounter a lot of homeless people myself but I usually just walk right past them. Not out of malicious intent, I am just so used to them being there. The conversations written in this book are very interesting, and definitely changes my view about the homeless.

I like the fact that he also writes his poetry in throughout the conversation. It gives readers a true insight on the type of man that Dennis really is, and what he’s trying to accomplish. Everyone does really carry baggage, and It’s his mission in life to help the homeless people on the street. He eats, dreams, breathes his mission. He definitely did inspire and motivate me. This book moved me in such unimaginable ways that I have been thinking about it even days after I read it.

Highly recommend.
